Jobs for Delaware

For far too long, Delaware has ranked near the bottom in economic growth.  With as many factors that exist in Delaware such as the location of Chancery court here and a business-friendly environment which in the past has attracted so many businesses to incorporate here, there is no reason Delaware should experience the slow growth it has for so long. 

I have an ambitious plan to increase commerce using the Airport located on the DuPont Highway in New Castle as the catalyst.  Four years ago, I proposed increasing passenger service from it's one airline offering intermittent service to several airlines, particularly the so-called "budget" airlines, offering consistent service which would not only offer Delawareans a convenient alternative to Philadelphia, but these airlines' service here could also complement one other.  My plan seeks to bring these several carriers together and make the New Castle Country airport active and vibrant.

We all felt the effects of the pandemic, however we now have vaccines and life can get back to normal.  It’s time to get everyone back to work and get the economy moving again.  I favor bringing a close to the governor's seemingly unending emergency declarations and getting people and businesses working again.
We are at the point we can safely and responsibly choose to wear masks, and to choose whether to go out and about.  We can also get business working at full capacity and no longer need to use the excuse that there are worker shortages as to why good customer service can’t be provided.
